Emmeline Carwile

Emmeline believes in cultivating inner calm through the mind-body connection to build inner resilience and emotional flexibility. 

 

She supports clients with compassion and inclusivity, creating a space where they feel seen and heard exactly as they are. 

 

Working with adults, couples, and adolescents, Emmeline incorporates a strengths-based, collaborative approach in navigating relationship issues, obsessive thoughts, self-worth, and anxiety. She utilizes techniques and skills from relational therapy, multicultural therapy, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). 

Emmeline earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology at the College of Charleston. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Her professional background includes interning with Freedom Fighting Missionaries, where she provided wrap-around care — including housing, healthcare, workforce development, and court advocacy — for unhoused individuals and families. Additionally, she supported LGBTQ+ youth as a crisis hotline volunteer with The Trevor Project.
