With a collaborative approach to identifying concerns and providing clients with the tools to create solutions, Hillary believes in working alongside clients to foster growth, self-discovery, and positive outcomes.

As a caregiver and mother, Hillary's career has been dedicated to supporting the development of children and adolescents. With years of experience across multiple CMS schools, she has worked extensively with social-emotional learning, 504 plan development, learning disabilities, and family dynamics.

Hillary began her journey at the University of Northern Iowa, earning a bachelor's degree in Family Services and Spanish.
She then pursued her Master’s degree in Counseling at Syracuse University and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Over the past nine years, she has worked professionally with children, adolescents, and some post-graduate adults, focusing on solution-focused techniques.

She incorporates Adlerian theory to assess the deeper meaning behind child and adult behavior and function. Additionally, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy techniques, applying CBT particularly in group therapy settings. Her approach is rooted in collaboration, helping clients find meaningful and personalized solutions.

After becoming a parent herself, Hillary felt a renewed calling to support new parents. She enjoys working with individuals navigating the transitions and challenges of parenthood, recognizing that no one should experience it alone. Now offering care in private practice, Hillary provides a supportive space for clients to explore and grow.
